Mother's Day Celebration Concert

Treat Mum to a very special Mother's Day surprise and bring her along to a wonderful concert just for her! There'll be lots of favourites sung by the Sunshine Coast Oriana Choir, Oriana Youth Choir and soloists. Mum will be served a srumptious afternoon tea and there will also be prizes and surprises! So forget the perfume and the new nighty, Mum definitely won't be disappointed with this Mother's Day gift.

Packed House at Lake Kawana

On the Road to Europe presented to thrilled audiences on the 31st of March and 1st of April! A full house (we had to scramble to find extra chairs!) in Lake Kawana and an excellent audience at St Andrew's as well, and Oriana singers are exhausted this week after two terrific concerts.

Thanks so much to our wonderful supportive and appreciative audiences!

Oriana made a suprise appearance at the Centro Shopping Centre in Gympie recently with a spontaneous performance of Handel's Hallelujah Chorus.  You can catch it on YouTube here.

Oriana Scoops the Pool at Qld Eisteddfod

Well we’re all very excited after cleaning up at the annual Heritage Queensland Eisteddfod held over Easter. This 118 year old festival of music attracts choirs from all over South East Queensland and Oriana was declared Champion Choir for the 2nd time in only 5 years of competing after scoring an unprecedented 40 out of a possible 42 points!   [read more...]

Oriana @ St Paul's Cathedral, London!!

Oriana has been accepted to perform at St Paul's Cathedral in London as part of our 2012 International Tour!! This impressive engagement is sure to be a highlight of a tour that will see us visit England, Wales, France and Belgium in July next year.  [read more...]

Welcome to Oriana

Welcome to the official website of Oriana Arts Inc incorporating Queensland's 2009 Champion Choir – the Sunshine Coast Oriana Choir - and the Sunshine Coast Oriana Youth Choir.

Oriana now has over 70 members ranging in age from 8 to over 65 who come from all over the Sunshine Coast and surrounding areas to attend the weekly rehearsals. They have amongst their members teachers, doctors, nurses, therapists, managers, administrators, writers, lawyers, business owners, students, musicians, artists, accountants, retirees, homemakers and more.

Oriana Arts Inc has two patrons; acclaimed composer and musician Michael Knopf and Channel 7 personality and arts enthusiast Rosanna Natoli. They are both very proud of the choirs' achievements and successes.

Oriana Arts Inc is committed to not only developing an outstanding choral group but presenting other innovative and quality music, theatre and arts opportunities in the future.
