A Change of Direction - The French Connection!

If you’ve enjoyed previous Oriana performances, you will be fully aware of the Choir’s versatility. Oriana is adept at masterful singing in a very wide range of musical genres and styles.

Following the runaway success of our recent season, The Piano Men, Oriana is embarking on ‘something completely different’ – The French Connection, a concert of beautiful music from the land of Edith Piaf, Bizet and Champagne. The programme will feature music from as far back as the fourteenth century to (almost) the present day, and will showcase well loved pieces from such revered French composers as Gabriel Faure, Georges Bizet and Claude Debussy, including Faure’s sublimely beautiful Requiem.

The French language has its own special musical quality, and it is a lovely language for singing. The Oriana Choir will bring you something quite special with this concert programme. We cordially invite you to passer une soiree avec nous* and bask in some musique Francaise belle**!
