The French Connection

The Sunshine Coast’s premier vocal group, Oriana Choir, presents The French Connection: Faure's Requiem plus a bouquet of French choral masterpieces 2pm Saturday July 26 at St Patrick’s Catholic Church, Gympie and 2pm Sunday July 27 at Stella Maris Primary Hall, Maroochydore. Under the direction of Kim Kirkman, the choir will present a stunning selection of works by Fauré, Debussy, and more in this ‘magnifique’ concert. The programme will include beloved pieces by Bizet and Delibes, along with a stirring rendition of an Edith Piaf classic. Accompanying the choir will be a string orchestra and pianist, with featured solo performances.
