Choral Music Hire

Hire choral music from our Catalogue

Oriana has a growing library of sheet music and choral works available for hire.

 

Selected titles within the collection are available to other choirs within Australia through our Choral Music Hire Scheme.

​

The availability of particular titles at any time is subject to the current requirements and programming of the Oriana ensembles.

Terms and Conditions

A deposit equal to 25% of the total hire charges will be required prior to dispatch of the hire titles. This deposit will be refunded in full at the end of the hire period provided that all copies are returned in good order.

 

An invoice for the full amount of the hire will be forwarded with the hire titles and will be payable within 14 days of receipt.

All music is to be returned within one month of your final concert date.

​

Any lost or damaged copies are to be replaced by your choir.

​

Please look after our music:​

  • Use ONLY a 2B pencil to make any markings on the music

  • Do not change numbers on the front of the music

  • Do not use sticky labels, staples, pins, pens or highlighters

  • Do not use sticky or masking tape.  If minor repairs are necessary then only use 'magic' or invisible tape.

  • Do not punch holes in the music.

Initial enquiries should be directed to the Secretary via email.

We would appreciate at least two weeks' notice for loan requests.

​

Reservations may be made up to six months in advance.

Hire Charges

The standard loan period is three (3) months. Extensions, subject to availability, may be available in increments of one (1) month.

​

  • Scores under 10 pages – $1.50 cents per copy for the initial three months

  • Scores 10 pages and more – $3 per copy for the initial three months

 

Forward postage and packing charges are additional. Return postage and packaging will be at the hirer’s expense.
