Becoming a member
New members are always welcome!
Being able to read music and previous choral experience are an advantage but not essential. Applying new members are required to undergo a short voice placement audition.
To become a member of the company you must pay the membership fee of $50 per year, per person, and a fee of $5 per rehearsal attended. The membership fee is due every January, but if you join later on in the year you can pay a pro-rata fee. Membership means you are also covered by our insurance for rehearsals and performances.
If you are considering joining Oriana, email us, or call the President, Melissa Innes, on 5456 1414. She will encourage you to come along to a rehearsal to listen and even join in. She will also talk to you about whether we have vacancies in your section and how to move forward from your initial visit.
